Single-Shot Antique Arms and Replicas. 

+ Sharps 1863 Conversion [Antq] - (Sn C214xx) - .50/70 with a 22" barrel. Shows about 98% original blue on the barrel, with about 95%+ bright blue case colors on the action and lever. Barrel band & butt plate show somewhat more subdued. Bright fire blue on all screws, except for the hammer screw, which is gray. Takedown lever shows 99%. Saddle ring & bar are mainly silver. Front & rear sights are complete & correct. Wood shows strong throughout, grain still shows raised with good D. F. C. cartouche and other crisp inspector's marks. Butt plate is notched for a patch box. Good bore, screws, & mechanically sound. $6,500

+ U. S. Springfield Trapdoor 1884 SRC [Antq] - (Sn 3440xx) - .45/70 with a 22" bbl. Shows mainly brown, gray, & silver. Has had a Buffington rear sight added. Stock is dated 1882 - circled P is still visible. Good bore, screws, & mechanically sound. Has an 1873 breechblock. $1,495

+ U. S. Springfield 1884 Carbine [Antq] - (Sn 3791xx) - .45/70 with a 22" bbl. Barrel shows brown & light pitting forward of barrel band on barrel. Smoother toward the rear of barrel. Action & lock show smooth, with blue showing through frosty rust; shows about the same. Lock shows smooth & mottled gray & plum. Guard & trigger plate show plum, with scattered pitting. Butt plate shows some blue. Saddle ring & bar are intact & show like the rest of the gun. Cleaning rod is missing, from butt trap. Rear sight has been replaced with earlier rifle sight. Stock shows normal usage marks; cartouches are obliterated, but the "P" is still visible behind the tang. Bore is bad. Action is sound & screws are good. This is a good-looking old gun. $1,495

Colt Single Action Army. 

+ U. S. Colt SAA [Antq] - (Sn 964xx) - .45 Colt with a 5.5" bbl. This Artillery Model shows about 80-85% original blue on the barrel & about 50-60% blue on the ejector housing. Cylinder retains about 90% original blue. Back & front straps are gray; top of back strap has some bright blue intact, as does the flats on the guard & the flats on either side of upper strap. Has some bright blue on & around the front of the guard. The frame is mainly gray & brown, with traces of case color - hammer shows about the same. Retains all correct D.F.C. & R.A.C. marks on metal & grips. Grips have a few dents & dings with an initial scratched on the left bottom panel. Good bore, screws, & mechanically sound. + Smith & Wesson New Model #3 [Antq] - (Sn 349xx) - .44 Russian caliber with a 6.5" bbl., blue, checkered Walnut stocks, target rear sight & checkered trigger. Shows about 95-97% original blue, with most of the wear showing on thinned back strap. Shows about 95-97% case color on hammer, and about 40% on guard. Casehardened rear sight blade has been bent backward a few degrees. Muzzle shows as having been cleaned up. It appears the muzzle crown was damaged at some point, and the muzzle was re-polished. Brass bead at back of front sight blade is missing. Overall, a great example of this model & includes a factory letter. $5,250

+ U. S. F. A. Pre-War SA - (Sn 287xx) - .45 Colt, 4.75" bbl., wire wheel Armory blue, Bone case, 1-piece ivory grip, Master C engraving. The engraving is a classic Helfricht pattern. The nickel finish is a slightly muted, softer tone that shows more like aged original nickel finish on the old SAA revolvers. The engraving is a classic Helfricht pattern. Item #H9787. SOLD

+ U. S. F. A. China Camp - (SnCC50x) - .32/20, 4.75" bbl., with 2 spare cylinders in .32 A.C.P., .32 H&R mag., Sambar stag grips. The original hard rubber grips are not present. The box, papers, & flannel pouch are included. The revolver shows about as new, but has been fired. One of the cylinders has a couple of spots of rust, as is typical on these "finished in the white" revolvers. The spare cylinder work was done by Hamilton-Bowen. A. - SAA - (Sn 237xx) - .44 Russian and Smith & Wesson Special with 7.5" bbl., nickel, fire blued appointments, bull's eye ejector head, square notch sight groove, thick front sight, black hard rubber grips. This was an archive/show gun for U. S. F. A., and has been kept in the factory vault until shipped to us. Shows as new, with factory box & papers. SHOW is stamped above the serial number on the bottom of the frame. This revolver, though marked Russian on the barrel, is in fact a .44 Special, so it will handle either cartridge. + Retro Ruger Combo 'Pre-Warning' Ruger Black Hawk - (Sn 32-118xx) - .357 mag., 6.5" bbl.; blue with factory walnut grips. Shows about 90-95% original blue with scattered thinning, straining, & light pitting on the cylinder along edge & behind one of the flutes. All losses appear to be from holster wear. The top of the ramp has a hole drilled & tapped for front part of scope base. Currently there is a filler screw installed. The scope & base have been removed & a rear sight installed. The Bushnell Phantom Magnum 2.5x scope & base appear to be mechanically sound & the optics are sharp & clear. The revolver has a good bore, screws, & is mechanically sound. Lever Action.  

+ J. P. Gemmer Spencer Conversion - (Sn None Visible) - 56/52 Rim Fire with 30" octagon barrel. Classic full conversion with full under rib; two plain pipes for wiping rod; S. Hawken-type iron nose cap & entry pipe; double-keyed walnut forearm; crescent butt plate on walnut butt stock with beaver tail cheek piece; single set trigger; long bar adjustable rear sight; German silver front sight. Wiping rod was missing when I got the rifle, so we copied one of the original rods from one of my other Gemmers for a replacement. These are extremely rare rifles. There is, to my knowledge, only about 12-15 of these rifles still in existence. This one would rank in the top five, as far as configuration & condition go. Good bore, screws, & mechanically sound. + Winchester 1892 S.R.C. - (Sn 977xxx) - .25/20 with 20" bbl. Overall, shows about 90% original blue. Sights are correct and complete - retains saddle ring. Wood has been checkered, but retains about 97 or 98% original finish on the non-checkered portions. Good bore, screws, & mechanically sound. A sharp looking little carbine. *CONSIGNED*. + Browning 1886 S.R.C. - Grade 1 - (Sn 027xxNY1C7) - .45/70, 22" bbl., blue, walnut with original box. The rifle shows about 98% original blue throughout. The better than average wood shows scattered light scuff & dings from hunting and handling. Good bore, screws, & mechanically sound. Item #L6133. $1,295

+ Custom Winchester 94AE Trapper - (Sn 65713xx) - 44/40, 16" bbl. with box. Shows as new - unfired. The barrel was changed from its original configuration (.44 magnum) to a 44/40 by Diamond Jim Buchanan's Custom Sales & Service, who also offers custom gunsmithing. The receiver & lever were casehardened at the same time, but it is unclear whether the same gunsmith did both. There is a saddle ring affixed, which appears to be factory. The stocks are standard factory, with a factory hard rubber butt plate. Overall, it shows quite nicely. Good bore, screws, & mechanically sound. *CONSIGNED*. Item #L4908. $1,295

+ Browning Model 53 - (Sn 0032xNM3F7) - 32/20 with a 24" bbl. This rifle has been customized. It has had a full-length mag tube installed, and Marble's tang sight added. The metal finish has not been altered, but the original rear sight has been removed, and a slot filler installed. Wood finish is also unaltered. Overall, shows about 98%. + Old Style Winchester 94 Trapper - (Sn 4928xxx) - .30/30, 16" bbl., blue, walnut. Show new in box, with papers, hanging tag, etc. The box shows near new, as well. The wood in the butt stock is a lot better than average figure & color. The fore stock is nicely matched in color & texture. This is a great example of a traditional style, early 1980's Trapper. + Marlin 1895 Cowboy - (Sn 991268xxB0 - .4570, 26" octagon bbl. Blue, non-checkered walnut stocks. Has had the sling swivel studs professionally installed. Shows near new at about 98-99% original finish throughout. Good bore, screws, & mechanically sound. Item #L7003. $695

+ Marlin 1895 - (Sn 22053xxx) - .45/70, 22" bbl., micro groove, pre-warning, pre-safety, blue, walnut crescent hard rubber butt plate. Shows about 95%+ original blue, with scattered light surface rust. The wood shows normal handling & hunting dings. There is a shadow of a rubber slip or leather slip on the pad. The finish has lifted and bleached out from the butt plate for 1/2" to 1-1/2" forward. The factory butt plate also shows discoloration, but is sound & crisp. The original swivel studs & sights are intact, as is the hammer extension. Good bore, screws, & mechanically sound. We don't see these old-style 95's anymore. Item #L6163. In lay-away

+ Marlin Model 444 - (Sn AA606xx) - .444 Marlin, 24" bbl., blue, walnut, with Leupold 3x scope on Weaver pivot mount. Shows near new throughout at about 99% original metal & wood finish. Front sight, rear sight, sight hood, & swivel studs are intact. The only thing missing is the Marlin trademark bull's eye insert on the butt stock. RCBS dies included are also in new condition - never used. Good bore, screws, & mechanically sound. A great retro combo. Item #L6605. $549

+ Marlin 336 - (Sn 69507xx0) - .35 Remington caliber, 20" round barrel, blue, walnut, traditional style, no cross bolt safety or warnings written on barrel. Shows about 95-98% original blue throughout. The front sight hood is missing as is rear sight elevator ramp. The wood shows normal hunting & handling marks, with a swivel stud mounted in butt stock. Also included is a 4X scope with post reticle mounted on see-through mounts. Good bore, screws, & mechanically sound. Item #L6142. $375

+ Browning Superposed - (Sn 653xx) - 12 ga., 26" S.K. & S.K. and 28" Mod. & Full vent rib barrels. This is a field grade, 2 barrel set that has been post-factory engraved & gold inlaid by N. Hartliep. The engraving is high quality, in the basic style of a Grade V factory engraving, with 2 gold ducks, inlaid on the right side of the receiver & 2 gold quail on the left side. There is a dog's head engraved on the trigger guard & 2 quail engraved on the bottom of the action. The original owner's initials are on the rear of the trigger guard. The barrels are numbered to the gun, with the numerals 1 & 2 under the serial numbers. The wood is standard field grade - plain straight grain. Both sets of barrels show about 98% blue. Wood shows about the same as the barrels, with just minor handling marks. L.O.P. is 14.25" over factory butt plate. The original Browning case, with some old Browning catalog pages, presumably to use as a rough guide for the engraving, are included in the original factory case. Interior of the case is in superb condition, with moderate handling marks on the exterior. This set was not made to deceive anyone. It was done purely for the original owner's satisfaction. T. ejectors, loaded chamber indicators, under lever, rising bit, 3rd fastener, foliate carved fences concealed in the butt stock is retractable, & sling, which when needed, is fastened to a loop under the barrels. Engraved on rear rib extension & tang. The action body & under lever are border engraved and there is light freckling. Shows about 98% original blue on barrels & about 30% original case colors on action body, trigger plate & tang.
