There is a dog's head engraved on the trigger guard & 2 quail engraved on the bottom of the action. The original owners initials are on the rear of the trigger guard. The barrels are numbered to the gun, with the numerals 1 & 2 under the serial numbers. The wood is standard field grade - plain straight grain. Both sets of barrels show about 98% blue. The original Browning case, with some old Browning catalog pages, presumably to use as a rough guide for the engraving, are included in the original factory case. Top lever has a slight extra bend to left, just ahead of thumb piece. Wood shows most of the varnish with hunting marks. Chips behind both lock plates & rear of tang.
