+ Sharps 1863 Conversion [Antq] - (Sn C214xx) - 50/70 with a 22" barrel. Shows about 98% original blue on the barrel, with about 95%+ bright blue case colors on the action and lever. Barrel band & butt plate show somewhat more subdued. Bright fire blue on all screws, except for the hammer screw, which is gray. Takedown lever shows 99%. Saddle ring & bar are mainly silver. Front & rear sights are complete & correct. Wood shows strong throughout, grain still shows raised with good D. F. C. cartouche and other crisp inspector's marks. Butt plate is notched for a patch box. Good bore, screws, & mechanically sound. $6,500
+ Sharps Conversion [Antq] - (Sn C437xx) - 40/70 with a 2.5" - 30" octagon barrel. Marked "Old Reliable", Sharps Rifle Co. Bridgeport, Conn. Metal was cleaned to bright at one time, but has begun to tone back to gray. Wood has had a light coat of linseed oil applied. Minor loss at schnabel, with a hairline crack about 1" long & 1/2" hairline crack extending from front of action forward into the left rear of forearm. Has a minor chip at the rear top, left corner of action & wrist. Comes with dies & brass. Good bore, screws, & mechanically sound. $5,295
+ Shiloh Sharps Model 1874 (Sn B79xx) - .45/70, 30" standard weight octagon barrel, walnut stocks, pewter nose cap, crescent butt plate, blue & case-colored metal finish. Shows near new at about 99%, with box and original wood shipping crate. The wood is a lot better than average, but isn't quite semi-fancy and was not ordered as such. + U. S. Springfield Trapdoor 1884 SRC [Antq] - (Sn 3440xx) - 45/70 with a 22" bbl. Shows mainly brown, gray, & silver. Has had a Buffington rear sight added. Stock is dated 1882 - circled P is still visible. Good bore, screws, & mechanically sound. Has a 1873 breechblock. $1,495
+ U. S. Springfield 1884 Carbine [Antq] - (Sn 3791xx) - 45/70 with a 22" bbl. Barrel shows brown & light pitting forward of barrel band on barrel. Smoother toward the rear of barrel. Action & lock show smooth, with blue showing through frosty rust; shows about the same. Lock shows smooth & mottled gray & plum. Guard & trigger plate show plum, with scattered pitting. Butt plate shows some blue. Saddle ring & bar are intact & show like the rest of the gun. Cleaning rod is missing, from butt trap. Rear sight has been replaced with earlier rifle sight. Stock shows normal usage marks; cartouches are obliterated, but the "P" is still visible behind the tang. Bore is bad. Action is sound & screws are good. This is a good-looking old gun. $1,495

The rifle shows about 98-99% original finish. The only wear is 2 small scratches on the left side of the receiver. The wood shows better than average figure, especially the forearm. + U. S. Colt SAA [Antq] - (Sn 964xx) - .45 Colt with a 5.5" bbl. This Artillery Model shows about 80-85% original blue on the barrel & about 50-60% blue on the ejector housing. Cylinder retains about 90% original blue. Back & front straps are gray, top of back strap has some bright blue intact, as does the flats on the guard & the flats on either side of upper strap. Has some bright blue on & around the front of the guard. The frame is mainly gray & brown, with traces of case color - hammer shows about the same. Retains all correct D.F.C. & R.A.C. marks on metal & grips. Grips have a few dents & dings with an initial scratched on the left bottom panel. Good bore, screws, & mechanically sound. + Smith & Wesson New Model #3 [Antq] - (Sn 349xx) - .44 Russian caliber with a 6.5" bbl., blue, checkered Walnut stocks, target rear sight & checkered trigger. Shows about 95-97% original blue, with most of the wear showing on thinned back strap. Shows about 95-97% case color on hammer, and about 40% on guard. Casehardened rear sight blade has been bent backward a few degrees. Muzzle shows as having been cleaned up. It appears the muzzle crown was damaged at some point, and the muzzle was re-polished. Brass bead at back of front sight blade is missing. Overall, a great example of this model & includes a factory letter. $5,250

+ J. P. Gemmer Spencer Conversion - (Sn None Visible) - 56/52 Rim Fire with 30" octagon barrel. Classic full conversion with full under rib; two plain pipes for wiping rod; S. Hawken-type iron nose cap & entry pipe; double-keyed walnut forearm; crescent butt plate on walnut butt stock with beaver tail cheek piece; single set trigger; long bar adjustable rear sight; German silver front sight. Wiping rod was missing when I got the rifle, so we copied one of the original rods from one of my other Gemmers for a replacement. These are extremely rare rifles. There is, to my knowledge, only about 12-15 of these rifles still in existence. This one would rank in the top five, as far as configuration & condition go. Good bore, screws, & mechanically sound. The receiver & lever were casehardened at the same time, but it is unclear whether the same gunsmith did both. There is a saddle ring affixed, which appears to be factory.
